Which TOML version is supported?
TOML 1.0, the version Cargo, pyproject.toml and most tools read. The parser checks the whole file and shows the line and column of the first error.
What happens to TOML dates?
JSON has no date type, so each date becomes its ISO 8601 text, like "1979-05-27T07:32:00.000Z". A local date like 1979-05-27 stays a plain date.
Why was a null value dropped?
TOML has no null. Rather than lose it without a word, the tool leaves the key out and lists every dropped path in a comment at the end.
Are big integers safe?
Yes. TOML integers can be up to 64 bits, more than a JavaScript number holds exactly. They are kept digit for digit in both directions.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The TOML parser loads once from this site the first time you use the tool, and converting runs in your browser.
